Take advantage of this unique opportunity and learn how to teach a foreign language by Job Shadowing.
Your needs will be assessed by a detailed pre-course questionnaire before undertaking a structured training course. Our aim is to build your confidence and skills, enrich your existing teaching abilities whilst adding new and innovative pedagogic approaches to bring a new dynamic to your teaching.
The key areas we will cover in your job shadowing include:
- Using realia in the classroom
- Exploiting and using resources
- Adapting these tools to language learning
- Intensive one to one language methodology
- Approach issues in English language teaching with a strong focus on materials and methodology
Your aims and objectives will be assessed during your practical shadowing component of the course. We will compare and contrast common educational issues in specific areas and competences, targeting your specialist topic.
You will have ample opportunity to take an active part and are encouraged to participate in the demonstration of practical ideas and innovations which focus on your specialist area.
During all the sessions the teacher will indicate relevant published materials and resources for your further reading, classroom activities and further research.
