Mr Batt's family has been working the land using traditional methods for many generations. This 200 hectare family estate is situated in an enviable position on the edge of the Royal Forest Of Dean, designated an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Relax and enjoy our extensive farm tour, transported by your knowledgeable host, Steven Batt, confident of a truly unique experience. Indulge in a fascinating glimpse of traditional farming and family life.

Depending on the season you can: Meet and feed the newborn Spring lambs, observe them gambolling in the lush, verdant fields.

Be astonished by the exploits of BESS, the highly-trained and intelligent farm sheepdog. Taking her responsibilities seriously, she can be seen rounding up the flock, separating the animals and climbing the gate following the commands of her master!

Visit the piggery, feed the pigs and laugh at the antics of the piglets as you feed them. Visit the hen house, observe the chicks and perhaps collect and take away some of our organic free-range, freshly laid eggs.

Watch the spectacle of traditional sheep shearing, unchanged for centuries.

Participate in the milking of our dairy herd, a photo opportunity not to be missed!

Choose a name for your favourite calf, during calving time.

Take part in the centuries old tradition of hay making, an exciting conclusion to the farming calendar.
